About the Author: Dave recently served as the House Prosecutor who convicted former Governor Rod Blagojevich in the impeachment trial before the Illinois Senate. Dave is the Chief Legal Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives. A 1993 graduate of Northwestern Law School, Dave worked in private practice for thirteen years, focusing on constitutional law and commercial litigation. Line of Vision, Dave's first novel, won the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel by an American Author. Since then, he has published Life Sentence, Jury of One, In the Company of Liars, and Eye of the Beholder. His new novel, The Hidden Man, will be released on September 3, 2009. Dave’s novels have been translated into Italian, Japanese, German, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Bulgarian, and Spanish. Dave currently lives in the state capital, Springfield, Illinois, with his wife Susan, his daughter Abigail, and their two pugs, Otis and Molly. |
